In 2026 we evolved from startup accelerator to AI-native company builder, giving founders startup-trained AI agents, personalized weekly sprints, and access to early investment at global scale. The Opportunity

There are few better vantage points on the entire global startup ecosystem than the Founder Institute, and that ecosystem is about to grow exponentially. We run 1,000+ free online workshops, pitch events, and mixers every year for a global audience. Events are the front door to all of it. As Event Coordinator, you will see founders, mentors, and investors across 100+ countries move through our programs, and you will have a direct line into global venture capital through our investor network and the deals it funds. You own the experience that turns a curious attendee into a committed founder, and a demo day into a funded company.

About the Role

You will coordinate events across time zones. You will work closely with our marketing, admissions, and operations teams, as well as Local Leaders running chapters around the world. This is a 100% remote, full-time role with core hours of 7 AM to Noon Pacific Time for team overlap and live events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute virtual events end to end, including info sessions, pitch practices, workshops, mixers, and demo days.
• Own the attendee experience, ensuring every event starts on time and runs smoothly.
• Coordinate with Local Leaders across 100+ countries to support their local and hybrid events.
• Manage event logistics and tooling, including registration and live hosting platforms.
• Use AI agents to draft event copy, build schedules, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Track and report on event performance, using insights to improve future events.
• Support demo days and showcases, coordinating investor attendance and founder readiness.

Requirements

Required:

• Availability during core hours of 7 AM to Noon Pacific Time.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication in English.
• Comfort hosting and facilitating live calls and webinars.
• Strong organization and ability to juggle multiple events across time zones.
• Internet and computer savvy, comfortable using AI tools.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of event coordination, community, or marketing experience.
• Knowledge of startup accelerators and the startup or venture capital world.
• Experience with Google Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, and webinar platforms.
