On November 9 - 11, the Mexico City Founder Institute team will be hosting "Startup Weekend Mexico City for the Planet", at the University CENTER located in Sierra Mojada No. 415, Lomas de Chapultepec. The value of sustainable ideas around the world is of great importance, that's why this edition of Startup Weekend aims to promote projects that support and encourage an interest in business and ideas that contribute to society and the planet. The event will take place right before the Final Application Deadline for the Mexico City Founder Institute, on Sunday November 11th, and also help kick off Global Entrepreneurship Week, which takes from November 9 - 19.
The winning team of Startup Weekend Mexico City for the Planet will win two great prizes;
- The Startup Weekend Fellowship - The winning team will receive one fellowship that, upon acceptance into the Mexico City Founder Institute, will allow them to participate in our 4-month, early-stage startup acceleration program free of charge.
- Entrance into the Global Startup Battle, with exclusive training from the Mexico City Founder Institute team. The Global Startup Battle gathers all of the winners of Startup Weekend events during Global Entrepreneurship Week, and puts them in an international competition for prizes. The winning team will receive hands-on training to prepare for the competition from the Mexico City Founder Institute team.
