The Japan Founder Institute, the local chapter of the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator, is proud to announce the newest Alumni from the Japan program.

After meticulous selection process and intense four months of aggressive business-building sprints, constant evaluation, and feedback from investors and mentors, just 14 companies were able to make it through. 

Each of these Founders have demonstrated a high level of perseverance and creativity, and their businesses have been thoroughly vetted and supported by a panel of Japan's top startup experts and investors.  

And now, without further ado, we present the Alumni of the Japan program: 

  • AVARY Group - AVARY resolves the global succession crisis, ensuring SME baby boomers retire with peace of mind.
  • Eddievolt - Provides solar-powered ChargeHubs, offering eco-friendly and secure charging solutions for mobile devices, addressing the need for accessible, sustainable energy in high-traffic and underserved areas.
  • Uni-ke - A B2B2C fashion platform that consolidates the main verticals and service providers of the industry onto one cohesive system.
  • Tlaloc Blue - Offers innovative waste treatment solutions using insects and earthworms, enabling biowaste-generating companies to valorize waste and boost treatment yields by up to 60%, while also supporting emission compliance.
  • LEAN - A sports conditioning app for female sports teams to improve their performance.
  • Ripplenity - Runs a virtual styling skillsharing platform "MINUTE STYLE" that offers personalized fashion advice and outfit curation from existing wardrobe. 
  • I.W.G Inc. - Developing a workflow platform designed to help clinics and small hospitals streamline their IT processes without the need to switch between different tools.
  • Trvium - A real-time AI and blockchain-driven tool enhancing due diligence, optimizing portfolio performance, and automating deal flow for maximized ROI and unmatched efficiency.
  • Mirai Minds - provides affordable, high-quality English early learning programs for children ages 1-6 in Japan, addressing the need for holistic, culturally sensitive education that prepares them to become confident global citizens. 
  • CycleNect - Allows buyers to pre-register wish lists and helps businesses shorten product research time. With smooth onboarding, it simplifies listing and export processes, helping businesses overcome complex export challenges and earn foreign currency.
  • JournEASE - A mobile app designed to simplify the expatriate experience in South Korea by integrating essential services, community connections, and personalized support. 
  • Digirow - Digirow increase revenue for medium-sized retail businesses by attracting more repeat customers through AI-optimized messaging. 
  • menux - Enables fans to purchase stadium merchandise from the comfort of their seats, while empowering event organizers to elevate fan engagement, enhance stadium experiences and expand sponsor reach through its rich data insights.
  • Revival - Developing an original collection centered on recycled materials and environmentally friendly handwork, focus on fashion sustainability.

In the Founder Institute's pre-seed accelerator program, early-stage entrepreneurs and teams build their business alongside a critical support network of local startup experts that share equity in their success, and through a structured and challenging business-building process that has helped alumni raise over $1.85BN. 

After Graduation, the new Japan Founder Institute Portfolio Companies now have a fast-growing company that has been fully validated by experienced startup founders, with access to the Founder Institute's global network and post-graduate support programs to continue building their business. 

Leaders of the world’s fastest-growing startups have used the Founder Institute to raise funding, building a co-founding team, get into seed-accelerators, generate traction, recruit a team, build a product, transition from employee to entrepreneur, and more. Based in Silicon Valley and with chapters across 200+ cities and 100+ countries, the Founder Institute’s mission is to Globalize Silicon Valley and empower talented and motivated entrepreneurs to build companies that will create one million new jobs.
