The Sydney Founder Institute was featured this morning on the Australian Financial Review, in an piece titled "Institute Gives Tech Startups a Leg Up When they Need It" by Joanna Mather and Hannah Seligson (with input from The New York Times).

The article discusses the Founder Institute model, and features interviews with many of the people instrumental to the first Sydney Founder Institute, which graduated seven promising technology companies. This includes Benjamin Chong (Serial Entrepreneur and Angel, and Local Director of the Sydney Founder Institute), Lisa Cumes (Founder of SmartSource and Sydney FI Graduate), and Yoni Meinrath (Founder of Tranining Deals and Sydney FI Graduate). According to Yoni, "The $1000 (Course Fee) has paid itself back 10 times over - you can go out and spend $20,000 developing your own website, and do it wrong."
