Think You have a Great Startup Idea?  Prove it and Win a Scholarship to the Founder Institute.

One of the very first challenges a startup founder will face is pitching their idea effectively.  You will need to pitch your idea thousands of times to anybody that will listen - including potential co-founders, employees, partners, investors, and press. But, getting your pitch right is very challenging, because you need to grab the listener’s attention and quickly describe the most important aspects of your idea. 

Luckily, the Founder Institute has developed an easy-to-use "Startup Madlibs" formula for creating a simple startup pitch, and we have partnered with them on our first "Netokracija One-Sentence Pitch Competition".

Here's how it works; 

1. First, submit your best one-sentence pitch in the comments of this post, using the "Startup Madlibs" formula.

2. Second, take five minutes to apply to the Rijeka Founder Institute ($50 normally, but it's free to apply for Netokracija readers here)

3. Finally, on Monday, May 6th, we will select the best one-sentence pitch, who will receive the Netokracija Fellowship and be given the opportunity to participate in the Founder Institute's early-stage startup accelerator program, free of charge ($650 value).
