Stareable, one of the most recent Graduates of the New York Founder Institute, is proud to announce the launch of its interactive TV platform. Founded by Yale graduate Ajay Kishore, Stareable is on a mission to democratize how audiences discover and share quality content.
As television expands and becomes more fragmented, it also becomes more and more challenging for audiences to stumble upon the high quality content that remains undiscovered. While high profile television programs from major studios will always receive the most attention because of their sizeable marketing budgets, what most people don’t know is that there is a whole world of high quality shows that escape the attention of the masses.
And that’s where Stareable comes in. The New York-based startup has set out to bring together these lesser-known yet praiseworthy TV shows from various sources to one place to satisfy those looking for something outside of mainstream television. Stareable’s goal is to promote programming that should be judged on its own merits rather than its marketing budget, content that is every bit as funny, engaging, and memorable as what’s shown on major networks.
What separates Stareable apart, if not above, their competitors is that not only are they a platform to discover new content, but are also platform to help your content be discovered. Content creators as well as fans are encouraged to submit shows they think should reach a wider audience, giving Stareable an interactive edge and resulting in a more community-oriented platform.
