Founder Institute Silicon Valley Virtual 2021 Produces 26 New Tech Companies

The Silicon Valley Founder Institute, the local Palo Alto-based chapter of the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator, is proud to announce the newest Alumni from the Silicon Valley Virtual 2021 program.

Over 1,400 people applied to the program, and after an intense four months of aggressive business-building sprints and constant evaluation and feedback from investors and mentors, just 26 companies were able to make it through. 

Each of these Founders have demonstrated a high level of perseverance and entrepreneurial creativity, and their businesses have been thoroughly vetted and supported by a panel of the Bay Area's top startup experts and investors.

• AI Edge Technology - adds value to publishers by enhancing their traditional content with Augmented Reality
• containerWORKS - leasing backyard space from homeowners in order to rent out shipping container rental homes - all at no cost to the homeowner
• DatumNexus - supplies corporate legal departments and major law firms with "iData" audits to analyze data pertinent to Mergers and Acquisitions
• DeskBazaar - an online marketplace provider of flexible work space serving the post-COVID suburban remote workforce
• Droplets - ID barcode reading enabled mobile apps and tablet holders for brick-and-mortar retailers to stay in compliance with regulations - paperless, faster, and inexpensive with inspection-ready compliance tools
• Emporium - a digital cross platform marketplace allowing recommerce sellers to showcase their products through videos
• EzuNile Industries - serving the global Industrial Water Treatment, Desalination, and Water Reuse industry with enhanced tech advancement in water treatment methods, efficiency and sustainability
• GreenShoot - a web-based public registry to help survivors of natural disasters recover faster by communicating on-the-ground needs with people who can help
• Heal Me Fit - a mobile application to put in place preventative health measures for transportation companies and their employees
• Hey Social Good -  social impact SaaS delivering research, data and tech for social responsibility, ESG, and health for private and public companies
• Inolitix - enabling SMBs to remove the risk of internal fraud, at a fraction of the median cost of $200k for internal fraud
• Instructiv - SaaS-based special education program management that is child, parent, and educator-centric
• Knowledge Satnav -  universal knowledge visualization and modeling products that are accessible to everyone 
• Krado - proprietary sensors and mobile app empowering even first-time plant owners to take dramatically better care of their plants
• LOVE MY CURLS - Custom Beauty and Wellness solutions to simplify wash day for women with curly, coily and kinky hair.
• Metric Mate - the cost effective way to track your reps, sets, and exercises for your strength training workout
• Modacity - helping musicians improve their practice with the science of mastery known as ‘spaced repetition’ and with easy tools to log a practice, track time, record and get feedback
• Padbanque - a new way to shop for all your favorite information on period care products
• PlaygroundIO - application dedicated to children aged 5-12 years, providing access to instructor-led fitness games in a first-person gaming environment
• PTcircle CO - web application helping Physical Therapists create their own personalized virtual clinic with the ability to track patients’ adherence to the plan of treatment
• Quoqo - contracting and negotiation services for growing businesses globally, initially targeting the Indian market of ~75M SMBs and ~13k+ SaaS startups
• The Skin Consult - a digital platform for virtual skincare consultations, helping consumers find skincare professionals and personalized regimens
• SpotSyt - a guided SaaS marketing platform for small businesses, including: strategy, content, micro site delivery, and analytics for solving the critical needs and problems that small businesses face 
• UBorro - a marketplace app that allows DIYers the ability to borrow & lend the tools they need to succeed
• University of Applied Research & Development - international qualifications for well-established industries that lack academic recognition 
• Xtampede - new generation smallsat (50-200kg) subsystems to fill the gap between low (CubeSat) and high-cost, highly reliable satellites (traditional space industry)
