The Founder Institute, the world’s largest entrepreneur training and startup launch program, announced today that it is officially launching a new chapter in Amman, Jordan.

The Founder Institute decided to officially launch in Amman after a successful trial period over the Summer attracted over 300 potential applicants.

The Founder Institute aims to supplement the Jordanian Startup Ecosystem, and provide training and mentorship to help local idea-stage entrepreneurs launch enduring companies, and then scale their business globally."

Through the Founder Institute’s four-month program, promising entrepreneurs “learn by doing” and launch a company with structured training, expert feedback, and support from experienced startup CEOs. Since the program is part-time, it is also a great opportunity for full-time professionals to test and build their ideas before making “the leap” from employee to entrepreneur and quitting their jobs. Leading the Founder Institute’s efforts in Amman are Tamam Mango (a consultant passionate about Jordan's development with over 10 years of experience working directly with entrepreneurs and policy-makers across the region), Marwan Soudi (a long-time entrepreneur, technology geek, and startup advisor), Zaid Masri (an entrepreneur and 10-year corporate executive), and Firas AlKafri (an entrepreneur with a long history of exerperience at various startups, local startup conferences).  

The Founder Institute brings much needed training that can help people make a calculated decision of making the leap to start their own businesses.
