San Diego Founder Institute grad, Embarke recently reported that after only 18 months since launch, has been accepted into the Microsoft Accelerator for Azure powered by TechStars. Co-founders Al Bsharah and Bryan Hall say that working with TechStars was always a “stretch goal” for them and are excited to represent the San Diego startup scene in Seattle. They attribute much of their early success to their involvement with the Founder Institute, as it “jump-started [their] business, network, and product development”. With more experience under their belts, they anticipate TechStars and Microsoft will provide the same type of value as the Founder Institute, and lead them in the right direction to take the next step in their company’s lifecycle.

Co-founders Al Bsharah and Bryan Hall met at the Fall 2011 San Diego Founder Institute and teamed up to create Embarke. The training they received along with a spectacular partnership spawned a company that is clearly on a fast track to success. If you or someone you know could benefit from expert training and feedback to launch a technology startup in the San Diego area, then click here to apply today. Final applications are due this Sunday, October 7th.
