The Founder Institute, the World's Premier Startup Early-Stage Accelerator Program, has selected Montreal startups "Bridgr" and "JITbase" from their recent Montreal 2016 cohort for the second ever FounderX event, a private gathering of the FI Network in Silicon Valley that will bring together some of the biggest industry leaders from around the world.

This 3-day long event, held on October 5 - 7, 2016, will feature a series of networking events, workshops, and formal dinners, bringing together some of the top members from FI’s global network, including startup CEOs, technology executives, and Directors.

The topic for the 2nd FounderX is how to gain traction for technology startups. As gaining traction is now more important than ever, this event will cover how to get investor, user, and revenue traction, and will provide promising Founder Institute Graduates with the opportunity to connect with top startup experts.

Kicking off the event is the FounderX Investor Launch Party, a terrific opportunity for aspiring founders to meet many of the best investors in the world, including Jason Calacanis (Launch)Mike Maples (Floodgate)Phil Libin (General Catalyst)Jed Katz (Javelin), and many more, all in a casual setting.

The main event is designed to help Founder Institute Graduates accelerate their company's growth, and will feature some of the best experts in the area of traction, such as Gagan Biyani (Sprig)Nir Eyal (Hooked)Justin Wu (Vytmn), and many others.
