On April 23, the Milan chapter of the Founder Institute commenced its first cohort under the directorship of Peter Lazou and Maria Matloub. The 14 week sessions were held at the Cariplo Factory, our main sponsor and partner, where Enrico Noseda heads up their Open Innovation programme, growITup. As well as being the founder of Tech Italy Advocates, he is one of our most reputable Mentors who has embraced the Founder Institute initiative in Milan. An industrial yet inspirational space located in the heart of the vibrating design district in the Tortona area, where events and courses are held on a regular basis, Cariplo Factory aims at being the primary hub in the Italian startup ecosystem where innovative ideas are exchanged and where young people can achieve big things.

With 23 Founders enrolled in this challenging and rigorous curriculum, 10 remain after passing their final mentor progress review, and with 3 sessions left to go they are now on their way to incorporation.
