The Founder Institute has made considerable strides in cultivating Australia's potent startup ecosystem, establishing chapters in various tech-friendly cities, including Perth.
Since first launching in Perth in 2013, the Founder Institute has helped launch seven startups in the Western Australia capital, including GeoMoby, Eternal Eve, and more. Despite its relatively small startup ecosystem, Perth has a close-knit business community, a quality that Adeo Ressi, the Founder and CEO of the Founder Institute, cites as advantageous.

Prior to applying to the Perth Founder Institute, Estelle Oliveri (Founder of Eternal Eve) was taking a break from her career in architecture to be closer to her family, running a small town delicatessen in her spare time. While contemplating the direction of her career, Estelle read an article about the Founder Institute in The West Australian, and soon applied.
Much to her surprise, Estelle was not only accepted into the Perth Spring 2013 semester, but was also the recipient of the Female Founder Fellowship, created to increase the number of female-led companies graduating from the program. Her initial consternation notwithstanding, Estelle arrived to Perth a day before the program began, and hasn't looked back.

Estelle is currently the CEO of Eternal Eve, a web application that connects women to beauty, medical, and alternative therapy focused businesses and professionals. She also anticipates the opportunity to offer her own advice and encouragement to applicants of the upcoming spring semester in Perth.
I’m looking forward to being that person others can come to for guidance - being that person at week three who says don’t pull out, just do what you can, keep knocking out those assignments [and] even if you think you’re doing badly, don’t worry about it, because what you’ll learn week to week will be phenomenal."
