Through our part-time program, existing and prospective founders can launch their dream company with expert training, feedback, and support from experienced startup CEOs - while not being required to quit their day job.
The Founder Institute launched its first African chapter in Johannesburg earlier this month, with over 35 strong aspiring founders enrolled. There are now a number of free events planned in Nairobi, including;
- Founder Institute Information Session (Oct 08, 6:30 PM)
Leading the Founder Institute's efforts in Kenya are two leaders of the local startup scene; Johnni Kjelsgaard (Founder & CEO of GrowthAfrica.com), and Ian Lorenzen (Business Facilitator & Partner of GrowthAfrica.com).
In this intensive, four month program, aspiring technology founders will "learn by doing" and launch a company through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback from a large network of business mentors. The Founder Institute is open to anybody that is passionate about building a technology company: idea or no idea, full-time job or unemployed, young or old, male or female, experienced in business or straight out of school.
