The Seattle Founder Institute, the local chapter of the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator, is proud to announce the newest Alumni from the Seattle-Portland Virtual 2020 program.

Over 110 people applied to the program, and after an intense four months of aggressive business-building sprints and constant evaluation and feedback from investors and mentors, just five companies were able to make it through.

Each of these Founders have demonstrated a high level of perseverance and creativity, and their businesses have been thoroughly vetted and supported by a panel of Seattle's top startup experts and investors.

And now, without further ado, we present the Alumni of the Seattle / Portland Virtual 2020 program:

  • Flyte Notes, Inc - smart meeting notes at your fingertips, an automated note-taking platform to help business professionals take meeting minutes, listening to a call and converting voice to a precise text summary and action items.

  • FreshGrease - a maintenance reminder platform notifying users when they should service their assets based on usage, and providing recommendations for relevant parts and services needed to complete maintenance activity.

  • Sound Sustainability Group, Inc - a medical device startup founded by an Army veteran on a mission is to improve hearing health for everyone by increasing access, with a belief that everyone has the right to hear.

  • StoryGuide.ai - supporting people suffering from mental health issues with technology that combines the CareSpace.AI authoring educational platform driven by machine learning with storytelling.

  • Turnagain Heavy Lift - air cargo without the airport, designing, building, testing, and flying multi-rotor unmanned aerial systems to deliver cargo to some of the most remote places in the Arctic.

On January 27th 2021, DocuSign co-founder Court Lorenzini joined the entrepreneurs live, as the featured keynote speaker for the Virtual Fall 2020 Seattle-Portland Graduation online event - watch the video below:
