As we get ready for the Karachi - South Asia 2025 semester, we are excited to announce an expanded partnership with DotZero, an organization that shares our mission of fostering a community of innovation Karachi.
DotZero, Pakistan’s first community space for entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts to collaborate, has supported 50 startups over the last two years, helping them raise over $20 million and hire over 250 local engineers.
In an effort to further impact startups in Karachi, DotZero recently launched an angel investment fund, DotZero Ventures, and this fund will now collaborate with the Karachi Founder Institute to offer top graduates at a pre-seed convertible note investment amount of $20,000 (PKR 2,000,000)
Since launching in Karachi in 2014, the Karachi Founder Institute has graduated several companies in Pakistan, including some of the area's fastest-growing startups like Animation Gig, MSJ Holdings Ltd., Verifapp, and more. In addition, our efforts in Karachi have also been profiled by several top media channels, including the The Express Tribune, ProPakistani, TechJuice, and others.
In our four-month, part-time program, promising startup entrepreneurs “learn by doing” and launch a company through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback from a large network of business mentors. Plus, aspiring founders are not required to quit their day job to participate, so they can begin building a business around their ideas without putting their livelihood at risk.
