Startup Canada (the national rallying brand for the Canadian entrepreneurship movement) and Founder Institute Montreal (the world's largest entrepreneur training and startup launch program, helping aspiring founders across the globe build enduring technology companies) have partnered to inspire, mentor and connect entrepreneurs with new opportunities to start and grow their companies, and provide a platform for entrepreneurs to voice needs and calls-to-action to advance entrepreneurship in the region.
The #EveryEntrepreneur Tour lands at Le Salon 1861 in Montreal on Oct. 28 with keynote talks featuring Second Cup Co-FounderFrank O’Dea and other leading entrepreneurs, and bootcamp-style training sessions in areas such as finance, scaling, marketing and going global. Experts will also be on-hand for one-on-one mentorship and support, and organizations that provide training, funding and other opportunities to entrepreneurs will be available during a Startup Support Trade Show to connect entrepreneurs to a wider support network.
While in Montreal, Startup Canada will also put the spotlight on the entrepreneur ecosystem in Quebec by discussing needs and announcing calls-to-action to advance entrepreneurship in the region and across Canada through on-site consultations, town halls, and panels. Startup Canada will progress the conversation as it travels to entrepreneurship communities across Canada and will share the findings with its national network of entrepreneurs, support organizations, private industry and government.
Following the day program, entrepreneurs will be invited to celebrate the movers and shakers of the entrepreneurship movement at the Startup Canada Awards Quebec regional ceremony and reception. Regional winners and runners-up will continue the dialogue by participating in on-stage panels to discuss ways to advance entrepreneurship locally and across Canada.
Each stop will wrap up with an After Party, which will bring together startups, investors, supporters, corporations, government and media to celebrate local entrepreneurship and innovation. Attendees will receive a free one-year membership from Startup Canada, which includes thousands of dollars in savings for business services.
