The Lagos Founder Institute, the local chapter of the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator, is proud to announce the newest Alumni from the Lagos Spring 2023 program.

After meticulous selection process and intense four months of aggressive business-building sprints, constant evaluation, and feedback from investors and mentors, just 16 companies were able to make it through. 

Each of these Founders have demonstrated a high level of perseverance and creativity, and their businesses have been thoroughly vetted and supported by a panel of Lagos's top startup experts and investors.  

And now, without further ado, we present the Alumni of the Lagos program: 

  • YuSocial - a revolutionary social network that allows content creators earn from their content and engagement.
  • Doorway Africa - a web and mobile learning management solution to help students between the ages of 5 and 25 bridge learning gaps.
  • Kharis Infrastructure Solutions - end-to-end services in CCTV, automation, software and hardware design, and IT consultancy.
  • Ecorocks - a startup that manufactures standart building materials, which have met the standard and are more affordable than traditional building materials.
  • SmartParcel - a company that uses SmartLockers to resolve challenges along first and last mile delivery, enabling e commerce vendors to deliver with the use of unique codes.
  • IVO HEALTH - a healthcare technology company focused on digitalizing hypertension management for Africans.
  • FIXXARR - an online platform that enables easy availability of towing vehicles for towing services needed by drivers who experience critical vehicle breakdown.
  • MoreGas - a company that provides innovative domestic biogas, as a free gas alternative to use of LPG, firewood, and kerosene for households and bussinesses. 
  • Codeant Technology - an ed-tech startup that teaches women and childrencoding and digital skills.
  • Kirgawa Technologies - a platform for event planners to connect with local vendors, sponsors, and exhibitors.
  • Sologid Technology - a company that serves the need for comprehensive workspace solutions for Africa-focused entrepreneurs.
  • Vevet software sloution that offers data insight and a marketplace for SME retailers to improve their inventory and revenue.
  • Hydropool - a solution that aggregates water vendors to provide on-demand water delivery and metered supply for Nigerians residing in water stressed environments.
  • Get Syynd Creative Talent Funding Marketplace - an AI powered tool for profiling creative talents and predicting profitability requirements.
  • Mr. DIY - a social e-commerce platform that sells select categories and dropshipping as a service. 
  • PAYCLUSION - a payment wallet that simplifies overseas transactions for freelancers and startup business owners.

In the Founder Institute's pre-seed accelerator program, early-stage entrepreneurs and teams build their business alongside a critical support network of local startup experts that share equity in their success, and through a structured and challenging business-building process that has helped alumni raise over $1.75BN. 

After Graduation, the new Lagos Founder Institute Portfolio Companies now have a fast-growing company that has been fully validated by experienced startup founders, with access to the Founder Institute's global network and post-graduate support programs to continue building their business. 

Leaders of the world’s fastest-growing startups have used the Founder Institute to raise funding, building a co-founding team, get into seed-accelerators, generate traction, recruit a team, build a product, transition from employee to entrepreneur, and more. Based in Silicon Valley and with chapters across 200+ cities and 100+ countries, the Founder Institute’s mission is to Globalize Silicon Valley and empower talented and motivated entrepreneurs to build companies that will create one million new jobs.
