The Founder Institute has officially announced plans of expanding its entrepreneur training program to Montreal, bringing with it a new wave of mentors and startup knowledge geared towards Canada’s startup ecosystem.
Adeo Ressi, the founder and CEO of the Founder Institute, notes that coming to Montreal is but the first of a larger effort to expand throughout the country. The Montreal team is led by Sergio Escobar of Startup Genome and Busbud founder LP Maurice, who will share their experience and expertise with program participants.
Adeo is optimistic about Montreal. He thinks there is a large multicultural talent pool that is very well educated, a factor for success. Montreal has already produced significant traction, with enough people interested to place it near the top of the cohort of cities Founder Institute has recently launched in.
