The Barcelona Founder Institute, the local chapter of the world's largest pre-seed startup accelerator, is proud to announce the newest Alumni from the Barcelona program.
After meticulous selection process and intense four months of aggressive business-building sprints, constant evaluation, and feedback from investors and mentors, just 9 companies were able to make it through.
Each of these Founders have demonstrated a high level of perseverance and creativity, and their businesses have been thoroughly vetted and supported by a panel of Barcelona's top startup experts and investors.
And now, without further ado, we present the Alumni of the Barcelona program:
- Ostras - a startup minimizing food waste and maximizing store profits by offering fresh, affordable ingredients for cooking.
- Navega Care- a startup that offers a solution to nursing homes, senior living, and caregiver agencies to manage and process information and to help health professionals and caregivers deliver person-centred care.
- Guau Applicatins- a startup that Connects pet owners with caregivers. Caregivers offer services, manage bookings, and share updates automatically
- Uniexpat - a website portal where students seeking to study abroad can gather information and manage the process, enabling them to save time and gain clarity to make better decisions.
- Ready - a collaboration web application that syncs product, support, marketing, and revenue teams in a hub that drives an efficient multi-stakeholder communication in software companies.
- Timblo - a startup that enhances the quality of life for cancer patients through comprehensive treatment, including personalized nutrition guided by specialists in oncology nutrition, to effectively manage secondary symptoms.
- Navega Care - a startup that offers a solution to nursing homes, senior living, and caregiver agencies to manage and process information and to help health professionals and caregivers deliver person-centered care.
- Zaple - they help startups and companies generate viral content that resonates with their audience on social media, leveraging data analysis and artificial intelligence.
The Barcelona program would not have been possible without help, because it truly takes a city to raise a startup.
The graduation will take place on February 27, 2024 in Barcelona in the 4 Years from Now Conference (4YFN).

After Graduation, the new Barcelona Founder Institute Portfolio Companies now have a fast-growing company that has been fully validated by experienced startup founders, with access to the Founder Institute's global network and post-graduate support programs to continue building their business.
