- Washington DC grad, Nexercise, was one of 10 startups selected for TechStars' inaugural Chicago accelerator class this summer (Washington Business Journal); Nexercise is an iPhone and Android app that helps people lose weight by transforming the journey into a fun & rewarding game.
- Berlin graduate, Itembase, announced a Gmail-Connect feature at the The Next Web Conference Europe’s Microsoft Bizspark Startup Rally (The Next Web); Itembase is an online shopping management tool.
- Washington DC grad, EventStir, announced their plans to go mobile (Elevation DC); EventStir is the 'Kickstarter for events' that allows party planners and event go-ers to fully fund and plan their event collectively online.
- Silicon Valley graduate, Spikes, announced a partnership with Embarcadero Technologies (Embarcadero); Spikes is a platform that makes getting hacked while browsing the web impossible.
- Seattle grad, Puzzazz, was nominated for GeekWire's Innovation of the Year Award for their handwriting recognition software (GeekWire); Puzzazz is a platform for puzzles and digital books.
