Udemy, a crowdsourced learning platform, has closed a $3 million Series A round led by Groupon investors Eric Lefkofsky and Brad Keywell. 500 Startups and MHS Capital also participated in the round.
Udemy aims to democratize learning by allowing anyone to take or host online courses. They currently have over 6,000 free and paid courses, with topics spanning across a wide variety of topics.
