Retailigence, a Bay Area Summer 2009 Grad, just launched their product and announced $1.5 million in seed funding from Dave McClure, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Quest Venture Partners, ZIG Capital, Global Brain Corporation, and other angel investors.
The Retailigence platform allows 3rd party mobile developers to access and build features around local inventory and price data from brick and mortar retailers. There are already 30-40 developers working with the platform to access data on over 3 million products from over 50,000 stores (including Target, BestBuy, RadioShack, ToysRUs, The Home Depot, and others).
TechCrunch reported the story earlier today.
