In a recent press release published on prlog.org, U.S.-based PetHub announced plans to expand its free "Found Pet Hotline" service to the United Kingdom, including England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Their new tags equipped with the U.K. phone number will be featured at Crufts 2014, "The Biggest & Best Celebration of Dogs," set to take place in Birmingham, March 6-9, 2014.

PetHub was founded in 2010 by CEO Tom Arnold, a Graduate of the Seattle Founder Institute.

The company offers physical ID tags that can be purchased here or one of their partners, Dog IDs, Red Dingo, and VIP. These tags are linked to your pet's profile, consisting of whatever information you wish to include, such as emergency contacts, license & rabies tag numbers, microchip data, critical medications, and more. If someone finds your pet, they can get it back to you in four ways: scanning a QR code, typing in the tag's web address, tapping the tag with a newer smartphone, or calling PetHub's 24-hour "Found Pet Hotline." PetHub offers two plans for pet owners: a free basic plan and a premium plan with additional features.
