It's been a big week for iGenApps: they were recently selected as a finalist at SXSW Interactive's New Product Launch Competition, and were soon after announced as part of the third installment in RevTech Labs' accelerator program.

Norman Ortiz, the founder and CEO of iGenApps, is a Graduate of the San Juan Founder Institute.

iGenApps caused quite a stir at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, where their groundbreaking new system, which allows users to quickly and easily create their own personalized apps with mobile devices, was showcased at ReleaseIt, SXSW's new product launch competition. Hailed as one of the most innovative startups in the industry, iGenApps has won first place in the International CTIA Big Idea Contest, the Cloudmob iOS Mobile Platform Challenge, and the UNE Patent Competition.

Following up on their success at SXSW, iGenApps has been admitted into the third class of RevTech Labs, a 12-week accelerator program aimed to boost area startups and attract early stage companies from around the country. They will be joined by Innovance and SavedPlus from the San Francisco Bay Area, Paradine from New York City, WeRx.org from Miami, and others.
