Last week, Female Founder Fellowship recipient and Chicago graduate, Reva Minkoff of DigitalGroundUp, Inc. took home second place at SeedCon, a University of Chicago Entrepreneurship Event. From a pool of over 80 entries, Reva earned her spot in the top 6 through popular vote and a strong pitch. She then went on to pitch to a panel of judges and participate in a Q&A session in front of several hundred attendees.
Although DigitalGroundUp fell short to fellow Chicago Grad (IntelligentLoop), the team still took home a variety of prizes as well as some recognition in the Chicago Startup Scene. Born from a solid idea and strong team, DigitalGroundUp is no stranger to being recognized for their innovation and hard work. Founder Reva Minkoff was the recipient of the Female Founder Fellowship last year for the Chicago Founder Institute. This scholarship is awarded to one exceptional female founder each semester, providing full tuition for the 4 month course.
The Female Founder Fellowship will be available in the upcoming months for our Spring 2013 chapters. If you are interested in applying for the Fellowship, click here to learn more.
