At the recent graduation of the inaugural summer 2014 semester of the Toronto Founder Institute, Mentor Ariel Garten gave an inspirational and encouraging talk to all of the recently graduated Founders as they head out to launch meaningful and enduring companies.

Ariel Garten is the CEO of InteraXon, a Toronto-based company and innovator in the emerging field of brain sensing technology, as well as a Mentor for the upcoming Winter 2014 semester of the Toronto Founder Institute.

In her short but impactful speech, Ariel covers a wide range of topics, from finding “unreasonable reasonable” ideas to how to stay optimistic when receiving “no’s” from investors to the importance of creating a company with value, and much more.

Unreasonable reasonable ideas are the things that are so well beyond the scope of what somebody else could have thought of that they are utterly unreasonable, but perfectly reasonable because with the right steps, the right action, the right hutzpah, the right tact, you can get them accomplished.”
