It’s no secret that Silicon Valley both breeds and attracts great minds from all over the world. Immigrants, hungry for a shot at making it big in the notorious land of VC firms and ultra-hip startups, often bring with them innovation that results in game-changing ideas and technologies, that shape the world as we know it. According to a recent report from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, cited by Business Insider, fifty-six percent of the top 25 tech companies were founded by first or second generation Americans, including giants like Apple, eBay, and Google.

Inspired by these staggering numbers, Megan Rose Dickey of Business Insider compiled a list of the 13 most innovative entrepreneurs who have immigrated to the US. The list includes big names like Elon Musk (Tesla) and Sergey Brin (Google), however, among these brilliant minds are the founders of four Founder Institute companies; Eren Bali (Udemy), Stefan Broda (BeforeWeDo), Q Zhao (2RedBeans), and Mike Galarza (Entryless).

These four immigrant founders made their way to Silicon Valley from Turkey, Germany, China, and Mexico, and with them, brought innovative concepts to help make the world a better place. To learn more, check out the full article on Business Insider.
