After graduating from the Vietnam Founder Institute, medical social network startup, Yton, is now regarded as one of the top companies in Vietnam. This year, the company received the highest 5-star prize from the Sao Khue (Venus) Software Award, organized by the Vietnam Software Association (VINASA). The award is recognized as the country’s most prestigious, and is typically issued to software and big data enterprises.
Yton is a platform that helps patients manage their health care by connecting them with medical professionals and providing easy access to the latest health, drug, and disease news. With Yton, users can create a health profile that is linked to hospitals, clinics, and doctors, share their medical records, and easily make appointments.
This year, Yton was the only 5-star recipient, and beat out several large local ICT giants such as FPT, Viettel, Tinh Van, Lac Viet, and more. A total of 85 companies were nominated for the 2013 Sao Khue Award, the majority of which were in the fields of cloud computing, mobility, and big data.
