Trying to organize and attend events can become a real hassle when you consider how many elements go into each process. However, now that we're living in the era of wireless technology, things are starting to change how we manage organizing and even doing payments.

Cashless payment startup Pouch is soon to pitch at Tech in Asia Singapore 2016, and it's worth your while to learn more about this emerging company. Tech in Asia Singapore alone is worth attending to see how advanced many startup tech companies there have become.

Pouch and its co-founder Tami Abadi are Graduates of the Jakarta Founder Institute.

However, Pouch is getting quite the buzz due to its notable process: Using wireless wristbands. They're changing the game in using near-field communication technology to a higher level.

Let's take a look at the company's development, the unique services they offer, and how they fit in with all the other startups through this year's Asia Singapore event.

Pouch's Development

The motto behind the company is "Event Management Made Easy", and that's already been proven with some recent events. Founded by David Rapaport and Ilya Kravtsov, the company initially started as a rewards platform four years ago before quickly shifting direction.

Tapping into near-field technology, they decided this process could help event organizers in handling everything from security to crowd control. Even more importantly, it could provide a wireless payment system to make it easier for the public to get into events.

Rather than deal with paper tickets that easily get lost, attendees at events get wristbands with scanning capability. The scanning process helps defeat counterfeit tickets for one thing, plus so much more.

As a comprehensive system in dispensable devices, it can make any concert or live event function at a better pace to prevent conflicts and chaos.

A Unique Service Covering All Event Details

To prevent delays, the Pouch wristbands help attendees pay their way in without having to fumble with cash or credit cards. As a security device, this is already important since many people don't love carrying cash on them at events out of fear of a pickpocket.

For vendors selling merchandise at events, it works even better. All they need is a NFC smartphone with the Pouch app installed to take payments from attendees directly through a wristband scan. The beauty of this is it doesn't require an Internet connection to still use e-commerce for merch sales.

While Pouch registered in Singapore, they actually operate in the Philippines. Outside of Asian countries, they've only extended to the U.K. so far, yet they'll be arriving in the U.S. soon.

Evidence of this exciting prospect comes from Pouch recently getting involved in selling tickets to a Kanye West concert in Manila. Further proof of their success comes from over $1 million in sales occurring through use of their wristbands.

With 150,000 wristbands already sold in just a few countries, you can expect this number will shoot up considerably once Pouch expands to other major countries.

How Pouch Fits in at Asia Singapore 2016

It's worth noting any exposure at Asia Singapore already makes their showcased startups winners. Nevertheless, one will win a $10,000 cash prize. Pouch's exposure here will likely raise more awareness to investors to expand to new horizons.

Still, they have to compete with some other impressive startups at this year's event. Z-Works is a tech startup that provides more innovative products for caretakers. Docquity is a social network app specially designed for doctors. Merlin is a workflow management software using the cloud. GliaCloud is a media tool turning text into short videos. And BitMex is a betting platform letting you place bets on anything, anywhere.

All of these have a good shot in winning. Yet, Pouch tackling the world of live events gives a more comprehensive way to solve problems plaguing venues and the public for decades.
