Brussels FI grad Twusic is taking their love of music sharing to new heights. The Brussels based startup recently announced they will be partnering with Deezer, a music discovery platform similar to Spotify, to help build upon their new platform and enable users to share their favorite tunes via Twitter.
After a $130 million dollar funding this year, Deezer is gearing up to take music discovery and sharing to an international level with their new App Studio and platform "Open Deezer". Deezer's CEO Daniel Marhely commented, “In the last six months we have seen some excellent app ideas take shape, enabled by our open API. We particularly love the ones developed by bright sparks or young startups which are helping to enrich the music ecosystem."
With Deezer’s expansion comes 8 new apps to join them on iOS and Android platforms, one of which is Twusic. Each app will enable users to enjoy music in new and creative ways, ultimately creating a highly cohesive and interactive platform. The team at Deezer says as the platform grows many more apps will be added. If you are interested in joining Twusic on the “Open Deezer” platform, submit your app through Deezer’s developer website and wait for the Deezer team’s prompt approval.
