Your pitch has a problem you cannot hear. You have said it enough times that it sounds fine to you. Re-write your pitch to only explain the problem your startup solves. Leave out the tech/features. Tell our mentors and investors in less than 1 minute who has what problem, why? how costly/painful? how frequent? how do you get in front of them? how many are you already talking to or helping? In this session founders pitch the problem they address and get questions and structured feedback on the spot, and everyone else learns from watching someone else's mistake instead of making it. Bring a problem focused pitch at any stage, including one that is still only an idea. Register now and say it out loud to people who will tell you the truth.
To get the most out of this Pitch for Feedback event:
  • Come ready for live video networking
  • To prepare, write down: who has what problem, why? how costly/painful? how frequent? how do you get in front of them? how many are you already talking to or helping?
  • Fill out our Elevator Pitch Worksheet.
What You'll Learn:
  • How stop talking about tech and features;
  • How to talk about traction when you do not have any yet;
  • The most common mistake in pitches at this stage, and the fix;
  • How to handle the question you were hoping nobody would ask.
