Our flagship 'FI Core' program combines structured sprints with constant feedback to help you reach the milestones needed for investment and growth.
This is where it all begins. During the Accelerator Kickoff you will meet the Local Leaders and fellow Founders in your cohort, and learn about local partners.
During the Accelerator Kickoff, your cohort will be split up into the "Validate Track", “Launch Track”, or “Growth Track”, depending on the stage your business. The "Validate Track" helps the earliest-stage founders validate an idea and build a team; the "Launch Track" focuses earlier Founders and teams on launching and getting initial traction; while the "Traction Track" focuses teams with a live product and customers on traction and funding.
The below deliverables are in addition to any custom "Epic Sprints" you may receive based on your specific challenges, and below is a small sample of the deliverables you’ll complete through Working Groups and Office Hours:

As the Houston Spring 2025 Founder Institute cohort gets underway, join this private VIP event reserved for FI Mentors, Local Directors, Partners & Enrolled Founders. The event will follow the Spring '25 cohort orientation session with a keynote speaker, quick introductions to the newest batch of FI Houston cohort Founders, an introduction to Amy Tran - the new Investor-In-Residence at FI Houston, followed by a casual open networking session with local entrepreneurs, advisors, and investors from the Founder Institute Houston network. The weather appears possibly damp & chilly, so instead of moving this event outside to The Powder Keg - We'll be in The Cannon Lounge (adjacent to turf lawn at rear corner of the building). See you at 8:00pm!
In each weekly Feedback Session, Founders will pitch and outline their progress to the Mentors for feedback, and get tips and insights on the week's topic. This week you'll get tips on how to develop a strong vision for your business.
