Established in 2004, The Women’s Foundation aims to challenge gender stereotypes, increase the number of women decision-making and leadership positions, and empower women in poverty to achieve a better quality of life for themselves and their families. Over the past few years, TWF’s operating budget and programs have quadrupled due to growing support from the government, corporations, and individuals.
Collaborating across multiple sectors, The Women’s Foundation engages with local experts and grassroots NGOs to ensure they have an inclusive, relevant, and representative overview of critical gender issues. The organization also hosts a variety of events promoting the cause of equality, ranging from awards ceremonies to to forums to networking events and more.
