Last Friday, September 24 the Founder Institute Berlin hosted its second and final open session before the official semester will kick off.
Founders and those planning to found a technology company were invited to participate the "Setting up a business" session. 50 of them followed the invatation to the sold out event and enjoyed the great hospitality of our legal partner TaylorWessing.
Besides providing an overview about incorporating a company in Germany and which mistakes to avoid when it comes to IP, Maria Weiers and Georg Schmid (both of TaylorWessing) answered countless questions and gave advice to founders.
No doubt that one of the highlights of the evening was the event venue - TaylorWessing's incredible roof terrace high above Potsdamer Platz. All founders enjoyed the great hospitality and inspiring conversations with their peers.
Bert Schiettecatte of Percussa, a music-tech startup entrepreneur from the Brussels chapter of the Founder Institute also participated the event and demoed his product AudioCubes.
We look forward to more inspiring sessions like this and encourage founders to submit an application by September 30 to participate the Founder Institute Berlin program.
