Every great company begins with one simple thing: an entrepreneur’s vision for something bigger than themselves. In this talk from the Puerto Rico Founder Institute, Marcos Polanco inspires founders to build a company that exemplifies their best skills and embodies their passions and values.
Marcos Polanco is an innovation coach & consultant based in Silicon Valley, and has helped launch over 50 companies across Silicon Valley and Latin America during his time as a Founder Institute Director.
To help guide entrepreneurs, Marcos suggests they ask themselves these three questions:
- What do you do that never bores you?
- What do you do that doesn't seem like work?
- What are you doing when you are at your best?
Once a founder’s most prominent skills are identified, Marcos says:
When your skills are aligned with your vision of your dream company, suddenly it all comes together...Forget the self-imposed limitations, the canvas you have to work with is boundless.”
If you want to launch a tech company in Puerto Rico, applications to the Puerto Rico Founder Institute are now open!
