The 11th Founder Showcase in July featured on-stage interviews with top entrepreneurs and technology journalists. In the talk below, Farhad Manjoo of Slate interviewed Kevin Rose of Google Ventures. Kevin speaks candidly about his career as an entrepreneur turned investor. He discusses the lessons he learned early on as a first time entrepreneur and the challenges of investing at the seed stage.

Kevin is currently a Venture Partner at Google Ventures. He also co-founded Milk, was the founder of Digg, co-founder of Revision3, and Pownce (now Six Apart). In addition, he was named on Bloomberg’s list of “Top 25 Angel Investors,” Time’s and BusinessWeek’s lists of “Top 25 Most Influential People on the Web,” and MIT’s list of “Top 35 Innovators under 35.”

Farhad wrote about the interview here on Slate. You can watch the full video below;

Special thanks to Farhad, Kevin, and Google Ventures for participating in the event. The next Founder Showcase is now scheduled for November 7th, 2012 - reduced price tickets are available now
