We started the 2017 program in Rio with 34 entrepreneurs and some have already left us. That's because the Founder Institute is not a school. It's a boot camp for startups. A kind of wind tunnel to test the aerodynamics of the entrepreneur and his startup. As you receive mentoring, inspiration, and tips from those who have gone too far in your business, you have to model startup by defining the problem to be solved, your market, and your value proposition through various assignments made during the week (and in weekends too). Gradually they get rid of the unnecessary weight of the original idea, they get more polished, their businesses more aerodynamic, and so they endure the growing strength of the wind tunnel. Those who do not progress end up outside the tunnel and are invited back to undertake the next year, when they expect greater maturity of the entrepreneur and the enterprise.
