As we launch the Montreal Founder Institute, we are excited to announce a partnership with Startup Canada, an organization that shares our mission of helping Women in STEM in Montreal be successful. As such, effective immediately we are offering "Startup Canada Women in STEM Fellowship" to top Founder Institute Montreal applicants worldwide. Offered to entrepreneurs across Canada.

Existing Founder Institute Montreal women alumni building startups that include Streamline Genomics (Josette Landry), DOT Mind Unlocked (Yishel Khan), The Hair Routine (Clarissa de Queiroz), The Green Stop (Rachel Labbe), BRIDGR (Amira Boutouchent), and many more. 

Startup Canada is the national rallying community and voice for Canada’s 2.3 million entrepreneurs. Since launching in 2012, Startup Canada has grown to represent more than 200,000 entrepreneurs and 50 grassroots communities from coast to coast to coast. Through digital programs and flagship events, Startup Canada is the network promoting, inspiring, educating, connecting and giving a voice to Canada’s entrepreneurs; supporting them to start, operate and scale businesses that build a better Canada for the world today and for future generations.

"We are honored to present the Women in STEM fellowship to support new entrepreneurial endeavors for women in STEM industries.

We believe that entrepreneurs can fix the world's problems, no matter how daunting or widespread the challenge may seem. The Founder Institute's mission is to empower communities of talented and motivated people to build technology businesses that positively impact the world. However, we too often watch talented entrepreneurs pursue ideas with low ambition. As the world becomes more connected and technology infiltrates the very fabric of our society, there has never been a better time for tech startups to make a difference and change the world.

Through this partnership, all women founders building a tech-based startup in Montreal can apply to the program for free ($50 value), and the most extraordinary applicants will be awarded the Startup Canada "Women in STEM" Fellowship, giving them the opportunity to enrol in the program for free ($999 value). The recipients will be recognized as someone with the utmost potential to become a successful technology entrepreneur.

In order to be eligible for the Startup Canada "Women in STEM" Fellowship to the Montreal Founder Institute, you must complete your application and admissions test by the Final Application Deadline on 2020-08-02, using this link

The recipient of the Fellowship will be awarded within 10 days after the Deadline.

In the Founder Institute's four-month, part-time program, promising startup entrepreneurs “learn by doing” and launch and build a company through structured training courses, practical business-building assignments, and expert feedback from a large network of business mentors. Plus, aspiring founders are not required to quit their day job to participate, so they can begin building a business around their ideas without putting their livelihood at risk.
