Venture Trailblazers is an exclusive event series that connects leading investors, founders, and ecosystem leaders from across the globe to discuss the latest trends in startups and venture capital. For this edition, we are honored to welcome Harry Stebbings, Founder of 20VC and host of The Twenty Minute VC, who built the world’s largest media brand at the intersection of venture capital and media. The goal of Venture Trailblazers is to educate and connect founders, leaders, mentors, and investors across the global Founder Institute, VC Lab, and FI Venture Networks.
Harry Stebbings joins Adeo Ressi for the next edition of Venture Trailblazers.

Harry Stebbings is the Founder of 20VC, the world’s largest media brand operating at the intersection of venture capital and media. Along with managing a $400 million fund, 20VC now draws over 40 million downloads per month across 190 countries, with guests including founders and leaders from Sequoia, Benchmark, Salesforce, Spotify, OpenAI, and more. 20VC also has the largest TikTok channel in venture, with over 260,000 followers. Harry has turned that platform into a real investing edge and has backed ten unicorns to date. 20VC’s $400 million third fund was raised in just four weeks and is split between $125 million for seed and $275 million for Series A. It is backed by MIT Investment Management Company, Horsley Bridge, and RIT Capital Partners, along with 40 founders from companies like Atlassian, Canva, Datadog, and Spotify, and GPs from Accel, Benchmark, Founders Fund, and Khosla. The firm pairs its core fund with operator-led sub-funds (20Sales, 20Growth, and 20Product), and its portfolio includes Linear, Superhuman, Tripledot, Linktree, and Sorare. His thesis is simple: back exceptional founders, not categories, because great founders shape markets. In 2026 alone, 20VC led a $20 million Series A in French onboarding startup Prelude. It also wrote a $4.5 million pre-seed check into an Israeli company with no product and no revenue, a bet on the founders that Harry says drew $120 million in demand within 24 hours.

Harry’s path into venture began at 18, when he launched The Twenty Minute VC from his bedroom while studying law at King’s College London and landed Guy Kawasaki as his first guest. As the show took off, he left university to run it full time, and the media business has since generated over £10 million in revenue. He went on to serve as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Atomico and co-founded Stride.VC, a £50 million UK seed fund, with former Accel partner Fred Destin, before stepping away in 2021 to go all in on 20VC. He launched the 20VC fund in 2020 with just $8.3 million, raised $140 million in 2021, and closed $400 million in 2024. Known for a relentless work ethic, Harry says he works 15-hour days, seven days a week, and today splits his time roughly 80% on the fund and 20% on the show.

What We’ll Cover:
  • Harry’s journey from an 18-year-old law student with a bedroom podcast to building one of the most recognized brands in venture and a $400 million fund
  • Why he believes distribution and brand are now the ultimate edge in a commoditized capital market, and how 20VC uses media to win the right to invest
  • How he evaluates founders over markets, and what gives him the conviction to lead a pre-seed round in a company with no product or revenue
  • Inside 20VC’s model: operator-led sub-funds, leading seed and Series A rounds, and lessons from backing ten unicorns
  • Why he sees Europe as the greatest opportunity in venture today
  • His advice for emerging managers on raising a fund quickly, answering tough LP questions, and building a GP brand that compounds
Who Should Attend:
  • Emerging managers building a differentiated brand, platform, and LP story for Fund I and beyond
  • Founders raising seed or Series A who want to understand how top investors evaluate and back founders
  • Angels and VCs exploring content and community as engines for sourcing and winning deals
