Ufuk Demirci, Global Head of Venture Capital Funds at IFC - World Bank Group

Ufuk is the Global Head of Venture Funds of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), where he originates and leads fund and direct equity transactions. He currently represents IFC on the board of 14 investees. IFC is the largest global development institution focused on the private sector and the largest investor in emerging market PE funds in the world, with over US$6.5 billion committed across a portfolio of more than 330 funds. $1.3 billion of the portfolio is invested in 80+ venture funds. Prior to joining IFC he was a deeptech investor, with over 50 investments in the U.S.Ufuk is the Global Head of Venture Funds of IFC

Michael O'Brien, Managing Partner, Siol Capital

Michael is investing into great startups building successful companies that are solving global challenges. He specifically focuses on heavily regulated industries. Mr. O'Brien is a state and local government relations expert, having worked in the field for nearly 20 years and run MOB advocacy for 10 years.

Backed by a $40M fund, Zaria is dedicated to empowering underrepresented entrepreneurs. She is sourcing and selecting promising startups for Nex3 cohorts, assessing potential startups for investment, conducting due diligence, and making funding decisions.
