Before you have traction, all you have is a case. Founders get funded when they can give an investor a reason to bet on them in minutes, not months. Esat Canli has judged that case from both sides. At Autotech Ventures, a $600M fund, he reviewed thousands of startups and worked on 10+ deals deploying ~$40M, then led EchoTwin AI's $8M seed raise as Founding Chief of Staff. In this free session he answers the question he put to founders: why are you one of the ten best people in the world to build this company? You'll leave able to make that case in five minutes, with time to ask him anything.
What You'll Learn:

  • What investors are actually evaluating in the window before traction exists
  • Why most idea-stage pitches sound interchangeable, and what separates the ones that don't
  • How to build the five-minute case: problem, insight, timing, differentiation, founder credibility, evidence
  • How to answer "why are you one of the ten best people in the world to build this company?" without falling back on generic credentials
  • What evidence creates credibility before you have any formal traction
  • How to end a first investor conversation with someone who wants a second one

About the Speaker:

Esat Canli is an investor and startup operator with experience evaluating early-stage companies, supporting founders, and helping technology businesses build fundraising credibility. At Autotech Ventures, a venture capital firm managing $600 million across four funds, he worked across 10+ transactions spanning roughly $40M deployed, and reviewed thousands of startups. He later led EchoTwin AI's $8 million seed financing as the company's Founding Chief of Staff. His experience spans both sides of the table: assessing markets, teams and investment narratives, and working directly with founders on positioning, fundraising strategy and investor communications. He also mentors and evaluates startups through e2vc, Founder Institute, Plug and Play and QNBEYOND.
