Join us for the most recent Spring 2025 Accelerator Graduation, where you can see an inspiring talk by and a few debut presentations from the new Alumni. We will have a keynote speaker - a successful FI Alum who is growing fast and attended Funding Lab to share her experience as a thriving entrepreneur. Come learn about some of the companies that will go onto seed-accelerators, raise funding, and build the next great Washington DC region startups. There will also be an opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs and celebrate the SEVEN new Graduates.
Graduation Keynote Address:
- Tori Sullivan - CEO @ Barnwiz:
Having a background of breeding, riding, and competing horses on her family’s farm Tori struggled to find trusted professionals in the horse industry. She worked in healthcare modernizing the technology for 20 years and in 2014 BarnWiz was launched as a directory of professionals local to Maryland and Virginia areas. Along the entrepreneurship path, Tori attended Virginia’s ICAP, Tampa Bay Wave’s Women in Technology accelerator program, graduated from Founders Insititute and Founders Lab along with completing various marketing certifications, pitch events big and small, online and in person. She bootstrapped, sold her home, raised $450k from Friends and Family and in 2022 BarnWiz expanded a SaaS business tool to help match professionals with horse owners and riders. Join us and learn about her journey and the BarnWiz App to find out about what it takes to succeed - and book local trusted professionals for riding lessons, horse boarding, training and more.
