About Emerging Institute: Emerging Institute is VC Lab's premier 8-week program for Fund II, III, and IV managers ready to take their firm to the next level. Through personalized 1:1 office hours, direct access to institutional LPs, and hands-on refinement of your materials and strategy, the program is designed to help emerging managers build institutional-grade firms and close their next fund with confidence.
- What: Four weeks getting you and your materials to institutional grade, including a Fund II narrative built on data, a data room that survives real diligence, and DDQ readiness. Then four weeks going to market with a targeting plan matched to the right LP archetypes and the follow-up systems that six to eighteen month cycles demand. Cohorts stay around 30 to 40 partners, so every manager gets real time with the institutional LPs we bring in.
- Who: Fund II, III, and IV managers at or approaching their successor threshold, typically raising two to three times their first fund, and ready to fill a meaningful share of it with family offices and institutional LPs rather than high net worth individuals alone. Managers join from all over the world.
- Why: Performance alone closes high net worth individuals. Institutional LPs want performance and predictability both, and they will find every gap in your firm before they commit. This program closes those gaps before you are in the room. It is free, with no fees, carry, or strings, and recent cohorts have scored an NPS of 92.
