The market for venture capital funding has dramatically shifted as a result of COVID-19. The valuations for both public and private companies have been impacted, and as a result, so have the needs of investors.  Many venture firms are raising their standards, so anyone trying to raise a Series-A has to adjust (or risk not closing investment).  On this live and interactive event you can learn how one of Silicon Valley's top venture capitalists is viewing the market, and ask questions about how companies can raise funding over the next few months. Our guest speaker for this event is Jed Katz, Managing Director at Javelin Venture Partners. Javelin's portfolio includes companies like Thumbtack, Niantic, Masterclass, Clutter, and more.

Jed later used Rent Net as the foundation for the formation of Move.com, one of the Internet’s largest real estate sites. Move.com was ultimately acquired by Homestore.
