Omar Zaki - Managing Director at Qima Ventures: Omar has been building and managing international ventures and projects for over 20 years. He brings tremendous versatility and utility across different sectors, with both an investor and operator lens across each stage of business. Omar has been advising early stage founders and companies on their Investment Readiness, in addition to supporting growth for late-stage companies and investors in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Climate-tech, Agri-tech, AI and other high impact sectors. He is an active Venture Partner with several accelerators and VCs, and is also building his own ventures syndicate platform Qima Ventures.
John Roberts - Managing Partner at Boot64 Ventures: John is a Limited Partner in three funds and has made 21 angel investments. In May 2023 John and his business partner launched a new pre-seed focused VC firm, Boot64 Ventures, after completing the VC Lab program. The new firm has made six investments to date with a four-year target of approximately sixty. John is a member of New Orleans Angel Network, GEDA, The New Orleans Chamber and mentor in Loyola University’s LaunchU startup program. John has experience serving on BODs in leadership positions such as the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, the Jefferson Community Foundation and was the youngest President of the Gulf Coast Shell Board.
