The goal of the program is to help support more than 50 promising companies that are solving the problems of the food ecosystem in 2021, and help build Founder Institute further as a centre for food innovation. The stakes are high in feeding our planet sustainably, and the problems are many, but the Food Ecosystems Program is designed to accelerate progress for food founders while helping them pursue daring solutions.

Leaders of the world’s fastest-growing startups have used our program to transition from employee to entrepreneur, test their startup ideas, build a team, get their first customers, raise funding, building a co-founding team, and more.

The Food Ecosystems Virtual 2022 program takes place from Sep 28, 2022 to Jan 26, 2023. Any pre-seed entrepreneur interested in building a food or agritech startup is encouraged to apply, including aspiring founders with a full-time job, solo founders, teams, and founders of established companies (pre-funding).
What to Expect?
After the short form, you will be invited to take our Entrepreneur DNA Assessment, which is our main criteria for evaluating applicants.
The Final Application Deadline is on Sep 18, 2022. Food Fellowship recipients will be chosen from the top overall applicants to the program, and be notified via email within a few days of applying.
