The Founder Institute, the world’s premier pre-seed startup accelerator, is launching the first-ever “Food Tech Programme" as part of the Helsinki Winter 2019 program.
The FI Helsinki Food Tech Programme helps early-stage food entrepreneurs build innovative businesses in the Helsinki Founder Institute through:
- Feedback and Mentorship from top Food-Tech Experts in Helsinki
- A Local and Global Support Network of Entrepreneurs, Investors, and Advisors
- Over €1.5MM in Partner Deals and Resources
- Several "S Group Fellowships" Awarded to the Top Food-Tech Applicants, allowing them to participate in the program for free
The goal of the program is to help launch more than 20 promising companies in the food-tech space in 2019, and help further establish Helsinki as a centre for food innovation. The stakes are high in food-tech, and the problems are many, but the FI Food Programme is designed to accelerate progress for food founders while helping them pursue daring solutions.
Who Should Apply?
The Founder Institute is the world’s premier pre-seed startup accelerator, with chapters across 200+ cities and alumni companies that have raised over $950M in funding. Leaders of the world’s fastest-growing startups have used our program to transition from employee to entrepreneur, test their startup ideas, build a team, get their first customers, raise funding, and more.
The Helsinki Winter 2019 program takes place from 2020-09-09 to 2020-12-18. Any pre-seed entrepreneur interested in building a food or agri-tech startup in Helsinki is encouraged to apply, including aspiring founders with a full-time job, solo founders, teams, and founders of established companies (pre-funding).
