Founder Institute Oslo portfolio company TotalCtrl has been being named a Top 100 Nordic Impact Startup by the Norrsken Foundation.

The list is comprised of 100 Nordic companies each solving environmental and social challenges through entrepreneurship and scalable technology solutions, and each of which are now nominated for the Norrsken Awards 2019. The selected companies were assessed based upon the positive impacts created by their business models, the user experience of their products, and the scalability of their solutions.

The product helps their customers, grocery retailers, to not only cut down on foodwaste, but also to make their operations more efficient by saving time and money, and providing them with a uniquely sustainable competitive advantage that they can tout to eco-conscious consumers.

TotalCTRL also received a special designation for helping to specifically meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 12 & 13. United Nations SDG 12 is Responsible Consumption and Production, while SDG 13 is for Climate Action.

As a reward, each of the Top 100 Nordic Impact companies received a custom drum solo celebrating their efforts.
