Subject7, an FI Grad of the Washington DC Founder Institute, has been chosen to advance into the next round at the InvestMaryland Challenge event, which was reported by Emily Kimball Pope in a MDBIZ News article titled “InvestMaryland Challenge advances 46 companies”. Payam Fard, Co-Founder and CEO at Subject7, states the company is a SaaS test automation platform that allows non-technical testers and business users to easily automate their tests.
The InvestMaryland Challenge is a national seed and early-stage business competition hosted by the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development. InvestMaryland Challenge provides four awards valued at $100,000 in grand prizes to innovative young companies with the potential to flourish in Maryland. Companies are competing in four categories, which include: Defense & Security, IT Hardware/Software, Life Sciences and Sustainability & Exploration. This month, the selected companies will present their business plans to a panel of esteemed judges.
