Earlier this year, Founder Institute Graduate Gridblaze, a global file storage network that directs files to the closest storage point for faster download speeds, was acquired for a seven figure sum. This was a pretty amazing accomplishment for Mikhail Choo, the company's founder, who fully bootstrapped the company and sold it less than a year after graduating from the Singapore Founder Institute program.
In a recent article on AsiaOne by Chia Yan Min, Mikhail shared his thoughts on the Founder Institute ("Founder Institute is good for those who are just starting out and need direction on their ideas"), as well as some of the perspective he gained from this whirlwind experience;
"No matter what obstacles there are, if the founder has the right frame of mind with the right reason for doing what he or she is doing and knows that it will be a tough journey... there are not many challenges that are insurmountable." - Mikhail Choo
